You can use seedwiki to build a conventional website for your group or business.
When you convert a wiki to a web site builder it has 2 sets of menus (and headers and footers and rightbar pages), one set that you see when you're logged in as the wiki owner, the other set that the public sees.

- This lets you use seedwiki's quick editing to create and maintain your site's pages
- Because seedwiki lets you control the appearance of your whole wiki, from the stylesheet right down to the layout of the parts of the page, you can make your public wiki look like any kind of website you want.
- You can get help creating your style sheet, designing your graphics or composing the text of your pages....and those people can work right in the wiki, leaving you with a site you can control and update directly when you need to.
- When you are working as the wiki owner in admin view there is a small link at the bottom of the page that will temporarily switch the wiki into "preview mode" so that you can see what the public will see when they come to the page you are working on.
- When you have switched to "preview" there will be a small link at the bottom of the page that will let you switch back into "admin" mode and go back to work on your wiki.

If you go to your web site builder wiki before you have logged in to seedwiki you can use the small "login" link at the bottom of the page to log in.
Once you have logged in your will see the owner's version of the wiki rather than the public version of the wiki.
You need a red account to use a wiki on seedwiki as a web site builder. If you have a red account you can go to to the control panel of any of your wikis and click on the "web site builder" link. A form will open that allows you to convert the wiki.
After it is converted the wiki will have 2 menu pages (_menu and _menu_admin) 2 header pages (_header and _header_admin) 2 footer pages (_footer and _footer_admin) and 2 rightbar pages (_rightbar and _rightbar admin. You can find these pages in the system or configuration directory of your wiki and edit them just like any other wikipage.
